Karachi – September 3, 2024: The Rotary Club Karachi, under the leadership of its President, Mr. Shoaib Ismail, recently visited the Transformation Children Rehab Center, a pioneering initiative by the Transformation International Society. The delegation included several esteemed members of the Rotary Club Karachi, who toured the state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, witnessing firsthand the exceptional work being done to support differently-abled children.
The Transformation Children Rehab Center is the first of its kind in Pakistan, offering a “Multidisciplinary Mental Health Care System.” This revolutionary approach brings together a team of specialized experts under one roof, including Consultant Psychiatrists, Neurologists, Clinical Psychologists, Hypnotherapists, Speech and Occupational Therapists, Behavior Therapists, Physiotherapists, Remedial Therapists, and Special Needs Educationists. In addition, advanced treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy are available at the center, marking a significant step forward in comprehensive mental health care.
The Center’s mission is to transform the lives of 150 differently-abled children by offering 25 specialized therapies with an impressive 8 therapists-to-1 child ratio, ensuring individualized attention. Covering the entire Karachi region, the Center is committed to helping children move from dependence to independence.
During the visit, Mr. Shoaib Ismail expressed his admiration for the impactful work being done at the Center, stating, “The Rotary Club Karachi is proud to support such a noble cause. The work being done here is truly revolutionary, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration to help transform the lives of these children.”
